Our Story
Inspired by a deep commitment to social justice, Safe Refuge Foundation was founded by Asiwaju Akin Adegoke to address the challenges faced by disadvantaged communities in Nigeria. From its humble beginnings, Safe Refuge has grown into a leading force for positive change, working in partnership with communities, government agencies, and other nonprofits to implement sustainable solutions that uplift lives.

Safe Refuge Foundation exists to create safe, inclusive, and prosperous communities through education, healthcare, and sustainable development. Our aim is to uplift the most marginalized groups in society—children, women, and youth—by offering them the tools and resources needed to thrive.
